Flaxseed oil is something that you may have heard of because of its potential for aiding in weight loss. Although it is not as widely popularized as raspberry ketones or green coffee extract, flaxseed oil has been associated with weight loss. However, this tiny seed has many uses and is not limited to only being a potential weight loss supplement.
What is it?
Flaxseed oil is oil that is derived from the tiny seeds of the flax plant or Linum usitatissimum. This oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid (APA). APA is one of the essential omega-3 fatty acids and a biological precursor to other omega-3s eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Life can be complicated. No, strike that. Life is complicated. There seems to be a price to everything. Most seemingly successful people (in a material sense) have gotten there by sacrificing time with family, friends and sometimes even health. In the end many financially successful people, now too old to change things around, express regret at not having spent enough time with loved ones while spending virtually all their time on career. It appears like just the other day that we ushered in a new millennium. Now a dozen years into the "new" millennium are coming to a close. As 2013 approaches, many of us if not all, are preparing to make the best of it. Many will make New Year's resolutions if they have not done so already.
We can't help but reflect on the year gone by; the successes, failures and challenges. For me 2012 has been a year of great challenges, trials and tribulations: From financial setbacks to an illness in my family. But I choose to focus on the positive. Not easy, but I will do my best. My restaurants are never opened on Thanksgiving; I want my staff to spend time with their family if they can. My feeling is, if I can't figure out how to make money the rest of the year so that my workers can enjoy the holidays, then I don't deserve to be an owner.
